                    Browser
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 6.3.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Keywords: regression
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: UI
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: gtwilliams at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
If you click a Web link in the preview window of a message, focus is
immediately changed to the Web browser instead of simply opening the link a
browser tab in the background.

This is a regression.

I reported this bug here https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=484481 in March
of last year. That bug was closed as a duplicate of
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482568 which was closed in December of
last year. The developer commented that this problem was a different issue in
spite of the fact that the original bug was closed as a duplicate.

OK, here's a new bug. This behavior was changed from years of the original
behavior of opening a link in the background.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click link in preview of a message
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Focus changes to browser application.

EXPECTED RESULT
Link should open in background, preserving focus on kmail preview window.
