I really doubt it is fixed. I haven't seen this issue for a while because I
removed my work account from akonadi due to this issue. But when I tried it
again about 1-2 months ago I again hit the same issue few times.
@sparhawk I may be wrong but I think this happens most and there is tons of
popups if there was modification (remove maybe) of the recurrent event which
was scheduled for the long time or I got a lot of such popups simply because
shared calendars which I am subscribed to are pretty busy with many different
recurring events.
