            Bug ID: 493713
Summary: Accounts disconnect every time computer goes to sleep
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kmail2
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: obnosim at gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Since March 2024 iirc, every time my computer goes to sleep, upon waking up, my
two Gmail accounts in Kmail are marked as disconnected/offline.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Kmail with a Gmail account set up
2. Have computer sleep (ex. overnight or while at work)
3. Wake up the computer

OBSERVED RESULT
Accounts are not usable until I manually right-click on each of them and ask to
Refresh the folder and all its subfolders, then agree with the confirmation
prompt.
In the last few days, even that workaround has stopped working, now on top of
that I first need to right-click each account and click on "Restart account" as
"Refresh folder" no longer works.

EXPECTED RESULT
Accounts should not go offline without a reason and I shouldn't have to
manually restart and refresh every account many times every day. This used to
work properly before updating from KF5/Plasma5/qt6 to KF6/Plasma6/qt6 back in
March 2024.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSION
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240924
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.2
Kernel Version: 6.10.11-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics
Memory: 7.7 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 550 Series

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Every time an account gets disconnected, I get a notification (originally the
second line was in french, I attempted to translate it myself):
> Resource ***@gmail.com is broken.
> "Unable to authenticate supplemental ranges"
> (originally "Impossible d'authentifier des portées supplémentaires")
