There is no guarantee that a bug will be resolved for the version it is
reported. Actually it even even highly unlikely. Usually it would likely be at
least a minor bump of the version number to tell the "buggy" and fixed versions
apart.

However the issue is indeed solved in KDEPIM 24.08. I am offered to set a
custom period for the reminder. So I set this issue to resolved and fixed
again. Please keep it that way.

Thank you a lot for fixing it, David, although it was needed, as far as I
understood it, to implement a new feature around the standard notification
features in order to do the fix! Thank you!

It was explained here why a back port of the fix is not feasible. See for
example my comment #33 and also what David Faure wrote. I appreciate it can be
frustrating to wait till your distribution carries the necessary KDEPIM
version, especially when you are on a stable distribution with a long release
cycle.
