I started getting this error recently, after an update and reboot to the
version shown below. Periodically over a period of about 4 hours, I would get
about 8 popups on the screen with the message in the OP. However, after that
time, the problem stopped happening.
I've tried creating a Test event and then deleting it, and that seems to work
ok, without additional popups. So I suspect this might have something to do
with deleting a partial series of a repeated event. For example, in Google
deleting a repeating event from this week and future events, does leave past
events that have already occurred.
