Not sure this is actually a duplicate of that one. The original reporter of
that one reported it as a bug in Akregator and KMail, even as standalone apps,
and it's currently set as an Akregator bug; and with Akregator I can't
reproduce it (on X11), either as a standalone app or as part of Kontact. Its
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=475128#c15 now suggests that the issue
with Akregator and KMail as standalone apps may be Wayland-specific (on Linux).

Meanwhile the problem in this report only happens with Kontact, not with
standalone apps, and in my experience only with KMail (as reported), not
Akregator, but it's reproducible on X11 (and possibly Wayland too, Idk).
