After having tested the possibilities, I guess there is a bug somewhere …
For one email, by a right click on the sender address :
        ◦ I marked both cases Afficher le format HTML (Display HTML format),
        ◦ In the contact details, I marked the case Autoriser les contenus
distants dans les messages HTML reçus (Allow distant contents in received HTML
emails).
But when the same email or another email of the same sender is selected and
displayed, the warning is displayed again (Ce message HTML peut contenir des
références externes à des images ...) !!!  This is very annoying.
Allowing the distant content in an email must be possible with 2 mouse clicks
once for all.
