            Bug ID: 464501
Summary: Changing the default identity doesn't change the
identity used by default when composing a new email
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 5.22.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: composer
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: thebluequasar at mailo.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
With multiple identities and accounts set up, when I try to compose a new
email, it always uses one of them by default and changing the default identity
in the settings has no effect.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KMail with more than one identity and accounts set up, and try to
compose a new email
2. It will use one identity to compose that email. Now, head to the settings,
identities , and change the default identity to another.
3. Again open a "new email" dialog, the identity used is still the same as
before changing the default identity.

OBSERVED RESULT
Changing the default identity should change the identity that is used for
composing new emails.

EXPECTED RESULT
Changing the default identity in the settings has no effect on the identity
used for creating new emails.
