KMail version 5.24.3 (23.08.3) has been released for Fedora 38.
No changes, the bug is still present.

I get a plenty of messages like "Unable to fetch item from backend (collection
-1): Unable to retrieve item from resource:  [LRCONFLICT] Resource
akonadi_maildir_resource_0 tries to modify item 319216 () (in collection 24)
with dirty payload, aborting STORE".
