as in the original report, renaming messageviewer_bodypartformatter_semantic.so
prevented the crash, email and pdf were readable.

tux:/usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/messageviewer/bodypartformatter # 
mv ./messageviewer_bodypartformatter_semantic.so
./messageviewer_bodypartformatter_semantic.so.bak
