- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Attempted to send an email from Kmail using Google SMTP. While waiting used the
desktop for low-intensity tasks. Simultaneoulsy used IMAP to download new email
messages.

- Custom settings of the application:

SMTP uses XOAUTH credentials over Port 587. Password used is a Google "App
Password" (i.e. specific for Kmail).

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
