Same issue with upper case. Typically it's en_CA.UTF-8, but I could live with
US.

Dang.  For the record, what locale do you normally run in?

I see a typo in my previous comment:  I meant to type "LANG=en_US.UTF-8
korganizer" (uppercase "US").
