Dear kdepim developers,

I'm seeing a similar issue with kmail on debian. My setup is close to that of
the original reporter: I also just upgraded from kmail (+ dependencies) 19.08.3
to 20.04.1, and I'm using POP3 with a few dozens local maildir folders.
