            Bug ID: 430746
Summary: Sending a PGP encrypted email withough signing causes
                    crash
           Product: kmail2
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: crypto
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: tobias.leupold at gmx.de
  Target Milestone: ---

After quite some time, I just tried to send a PGP encrypted email via KMmail. I
can't tell for how long this has been around, but doing this causes a crash.

After selecting "encrypt" and sending the email, the UI freezes, and on on the
console is full with:

    ...
org.kde.pim.kmail: Danger, using an event loop, this should no longer be
happening!
org.kde.pim.kmail: Danger, using an event loop, this should no longer be
happening!
org.kde.pim.kmail: Danger, using an event loop, this should no longer be
happening!
org.kde.pim.kmail: Danger, using an event loop, this should no longer be
happening!

And finally:

Das Signal SIGALRM empfangen (Der Wecker klingelt)

(received signal SIGALRM).

Sending PGP-signed emails works, as well as sending encrypted email that are
additinally signed. Only sending encrypted-only emails is affected here. Tested
by sending an email to the used identity's address as well as to other ones.
