pop-up notes kontact screen

SUMMARY
I deselected pop-up notes in Kontact, but on the main screen I still see pop-up
notes showing. Screen shot attached.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kontact, go to 'settings' -> 'configure kontact' -> ensure that pop-up
notes is not selected. Close the settings screen.
2. select the 'summary' screen in Kontact, and you'll see the pop-up notes
section stating 'no notes found'

OBSERVED RESULT
As above.

EXPECTED RESULT
pop-up notes should not appear on the summary screen at all.
