Daniel -  Thanks for your reply.  I'm using Kubuntu 18.04 LTS and Kontact is
version 5.7.3.  I only downloaded it this month (switching from Ubuntu), so
that is the version of Kontact that is included in the LTS version of the OS. 
Sounds like I could try updating to a newer version of Kontact or Kubuntu (or
wait for the bug to be fixed).  Thanks for your help.

PK - Thanks for your reply too; however this didn't work, probably due to
version differences.
