If I'm not wrong 'Enable embedded LaTeX' option from Discount lib
(libmarkdown2) is just to avoid converting LaTeX content to html as if it was
markdown content, and instead leaving it as raw text.

If correct, I wonder whether there is any option to render LaTeX equations in
Kmail and/or convert them to PNG (or SVG) images embedded in html.
