            Bug ID: 390069
Summary: composer window freezes - probably waiting for
                    gpg-agent/pinentry reply?
           Product: kmail2
           Version: Git (master)
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: composer
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: mail at milianw.de
  Target Milestone: ---

Since a few weeks the composer window regularly freezes on me when I try to
send an email. The backtrace shows that the main thread is sitting in the glib
event loop, nothing clearly indicating what happens. Restarting kmail fixes
this issue. I sign my mails, so I suspect this is due to some hickup in the
gpg-agent/pinentry communication.

I can't yet give more inforatmion, as I don't know what to look out for. Any
help welcome, I see this regularly (once a day or so). Volker also said that
he's seeing this since recently. Both of us are on rolling release distros, so
it's either a recent update in the KDE PIM stack, or beneath in gpg/pinentry...
Hard to tell at this point.
