            Bug ID: 381469
           Summary: Passphrase too long?
           Product: kleopatra
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: aheinecke at intevation.de
          Reporter: mrhammel2 at gmail.com
                CC: kdepim-bugs at kde.org, mutz at kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I am on GPG4WIN V3.0.0-Beta258

I first entered my passphrase when signing & encrypting a file. It informed me
passphrase too long, try again. I did, same error. That happens whenever
pinentry is shown for any of my certificates. It still works with the stable
version 2.3.3. My password is very complex though, use a password manager to
store it. It is 256 character length, with UNICODE. My guess is its a bug that
isn't recognizing that many characters in password or possibly the unicode. I
thought for a minute, but wouldn't know why devs would reduce max character
limit. As of now, I can't even change password because of this. I can revert to
previous stable version if needed, but hope to see this fixed as I do like this
new beta.

Thank you!
