Changing back to Confirmed, as this can still be reproduced with KMail 5.3,
Frameworks 5.26. I've just sent myself an email with the PDF from attachment
8788 and the sent email had:

--nextPart1803533.O5pIifQRu1
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="kmailtest-full.pdf"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Content-Type: application/pdf; name="kmailtest-full.pdf"

So it did detect as application/pdf (not text/*) and still sent as quoted
printable.
