No, I didn´t set any specific fonts within KMail (and I don´t see any way to
set a font size in the printer settings). Font for whole desktop environment is
Noto Sans 10 pt.

If I try to set a font size for printing, I see it being set to Noto Sans 10
pt. When I set it to Noto Sans 20 pt I indeed receive a larger, more readable
text in the output.

Maybe its somewhat related to the DPI setting I use for fonts within Plasma
desktop? I have set it to 140 DPI. Yes, I just tried it. This is it. Okay, I
update my how to reproduce instruction to include:

- go to Appearance / Font in Systemsettings and adjust force font DPI to 200
- do a print preview of a mail
- then try again with 50
- do a print preview of a mail

Seems to me KMail would be better off to ignore that setting and always scale
to the *printer* resolution.
