Tore, two things:

1) AFAIK KMail 15.12 neeeds Akonadi 15.12 or at least any *other* Qt 5 based
Akonadi. Akonadi 1.13 to my knowledge is Qt 4 based. So I wonder why it works
at all on your system. It might be that in Fedora the Qt5 based Akonadi still
has a 1.13 version number, but I wouldn´t know why.

2) With Akonadi 15.12 there should be noticable performance improvements. Yet I
recommend testing with KMail + Akonadi 16.04.

I have a larger setup:

~/.local/share/akonadi> LANG=C du -sch * | sort -rh | head -4
6.9G    total
5.1G    db_data
1.7G    search_db
117M    file_db_data

yet, with Akonadi 15.12 I think a file leak with Akonadi´s file_db_data has
been fixed. You still seem to have it.

On any account: Akonadi 1.13 is too old. Please test more recent versions. They
old ones will not be fixed.
