I am also seeing this issue on Fedora 24 (KMail 5.2.2 on KDE Framework 5.23.0)

There is a duplicate of this issue reported in bug 362575.  I don't see how to
close that bug as a duplicate of this one, or link them together.

As a workaround for both Outlook.com and Gmail.com, server side subscriptions
function correctly.

4 of us have reported seeing this bug, but I don't see how to mark it as
officially confirmed.
