Not resolved, not fixed.
KMail 4.14.3 on KDE 4.14.13 (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS) is completely broken.
Every 4 or 5 mails one has to yell some akondactl restart at a shell.
If you bugfix is to install other servers - this is unacceptable. 
The real bugfix in this case is to switch from KMail to Thunderbird.
