Is KMail dead ??
If so, please tell us, so that we can switch (and cry) to another email client

What a pity, kmail was really the best choice for mail client !! But
unfortunately it is unusable (as it is right now)...
Can you guys try and give us a timeline approximation ?? (yes, i'm really fed
up with sylpheed..)
