It is version 4.13.3 (not offered as an option in the bug reporter).
I am running Xubuntu 14.04
On starting akregator, the panel icon shows up in the the Indicator area as a
red circle with a line through it.

If I start akregator from the command line using the command "dbus-launch
akregator" then the icon displays properly: <a

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch akregator


Actual Results:  
Incorrect icon in the indicator area.

Expected Results:  
Icon of unread posts in the notification area.

If I run akregator from the command line I get loads of messages starting with:
