            Bug ID: 354516
Summary: recipient address requires a dot--manny at localhost
                    doesn't work.
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.14.1
          Platform: Debian stable
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: composer
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: knill at eskimo.com

I can't send messages to localhost, the composer complains that
there is no recipient. Apparently because of the absence of a '.' in the
address. The old kmail worked fine sending to manny at localhost

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try sending a message via the localhost transport to somebody at localhost

Actual Results:
Get error message, 'no recipient'

Expected Results:
manny at localhost should be a fine address.

Workaround is to use a proper name or numeric address, e.g. 127.0.0.1
