The bug disappeared on my system. Installed Software:

KMail Version 5.0.2
KDE Frameworks 5.15.0
KDE Plasma 5.4.2
Akonadi 15.08.2
Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.0) 
Linux Kernel 4.2.3-1-ARCH
