The Add-On for Thunderbird can be found here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/de/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/

I tried importing from Thunderbird directly and from an exported mbox-file
using the wizard under (retranslated names since I am using a German interface)
"Files" -> "Import Messages" and from "Tools" -> "Import-Assistant/Wizard".
