            Bug ID: 348103
Summary: Thousands of empty messages with duplicate headers
                    created in accounts
           Product: Akonadi
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: grave
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: auxsvr at gmail.com

Some days ago, a gmail IMAP resource had connection problems. Later, about 900
email messages with empty bodies and duplicate headers started appearing in the
inboxes of 2 other IMAP accounts, while akonadi was using lots of resources
(CPU, RAM)! These messages persisted being created even after I restarted
akonadi; they stopped being created only after I turned every IMAP resource
off-line and restarted them. The next day, I found out that the directories
~/http: and ~/imap: were created at about the same time; these directories
include a copy of an ICS file from a calendar resource and the file structure
of an IMAP account respectively.

I'm setting this to grave, because akonadi seems to copy and create data at
random, even to the local filesystem, while it becomes unusable.

Reproducible: Didn't try

This is with kontact-4.16.4, openSUSE 13.2.
