            Bug ID: 350616
Summary: Migration of existing knotes from 4.14 fails in 5.13
           Product: knotes
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Kubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: martin.dauskardt at gmx.de
                CC: myriam at kde.org

I installed Kubuntu 15.04 with KDE SC 5.13 from scratch on a fresh SSD and
placed the file with the old notes (notes.ics) from my backup in
.kde/share/apps/knotes.

At first start of knotes the migration tool starts, but fails:

martin at martin-desktop:~$ knotes(2563)/libakonadi
Akonadi::EntityTreeModelPrivate::finalCollectionFetchJobDone: "Unbekannter
Fehler."
knotes(2563)/libakonadi
Akonadi::EntityTreeModelPrivate::collectionFetchJobDone: Job error:
"Unbekannter Fehler." for collection: ()

I can create new notes, which are placed in .local/share/notes, although there
is no .kde/share/config/kresources/notes/stdrc. (Should there be such a file
in KDE 5?)

What can I do to get my old notes back? They include important things I need
daily.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
akonadictl stop
deleted ~/.local/share/akonadi
deleted ~/.config/akonadi
deleted ~/.kde/share/config/akonadi*
akonadictl start
recreated resources for knotes in kontact
deleted ~/.kde/share/config/knotes-migratorrc
started knotes again

Actual Results:
same result

Expected Results:
I expected a successful migration
