kontact (4.14.9) on KDE Platform 4.14.9 using Qt 4.8.6

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

1. alt-F2
2. run the script ~/bin/startworking by typing 'startworking' into the alt-F2
launcher box

actual result:
other applications start fine but kontact segfaulted

expected result:
kontact works under gnome, like it dies under KDE

additional info:
if I run kontact from a shell while under gnome, I get;

pcfe at karhu ~ $ loaded the Generic plugin 
kontact(4676)/kdeui (KAction) KActionCollection::setComponentData: this does
not work on a KActionCollection containing actions!
