I don't know. I had no timeout but a "Server Unavailable. 15" error when
Exchange disconnected.

For the fix you only need the imap resource (from kdepim-runtime).

But at work I'm running KDE 4.14.2 with kdepim-runtime 4.13.x now. This works
surprisingly well :-)
