Bug ID: 343776
Summary: Feature request: automatically mark as read messages
in a particular folder
Product: kmail2
Version: 4.14.2
Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: folders
Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
Reporter: zizou.zizou at gmail.com
Having a Gmail account, some of the Gmail folders like 'All' or 'Important'
store duplicate versions of the mail received in the inbox. The problem is that
each time that I get a new mail, it appears as unread in all those folders, so
I got to manually mark them as read.
Even if these folders content duplicate versions of the messages, I'm
interested in having those folders available locally because that permets me to
quickly search old mail (typically mail stored using Gmail's 'Archive' feature.
One possible solution would be to include an 'Automatically mark as read all
messages in this folder' option. I've actively searched this option, even in
the filters, and not found it.
Thank you for your time,
Néstor
Reproducible: Always
