I have the same problem - used the fix suggested by  Paul Eggleton and it
worked. I can't understand how this issue can be reported for over a year
without single comment by any developer.

This really doesn't show KDE team in the best light, and the fix seems to be
quite trivial.

I love KDE, so these kinds of thing are quite a disappointing.
