I can confirm this error in 4.14.1 (gentoo packages). The one thing i can
reliable reproduce here is: 

- searching with the filter "from", "Subject" or "BCC"  searches the complete
header and not only the desired field. E.g.: i have a mail titled "Re: Hotel"
from "Max" and i find this mail regardless which filter i set, if i type the
keyword "hotel" or "max". 
- the filter "message text" filters the also searches the header (From, To,
Subject, etc)

@ Reporter or Admin: can you update the affected version to 4.14.1?
