as recommended, I downgraded to kdepimruntime-4.13.3. But this messed up
akonadi. I use expiry and Akonadi now has 6 duplicates of each message in the
folder where the expired messages are filed into. But on the local disc, I only
see a fraction of that email. Note sure even all messages are there. So using 
kdepimruntime-4.13.3. with KDE 4.14 may expose you to data loss. Other comment
still counts, the patch is using all bandwidth as it downloads the entire imap
content with every poll. For me, this is Gigabytes. Doesn't work on ADSL. This
to say that users who upgraded to 4.14 and have Courier are mostly stuck.
Either use another email client or downgrade all KDE to 4.13.3
