I've noticed that when akonadi is syncing some folders the status for the agent
in "Akonadi Console" reports things such as:
"Syncing folder 'hs' (1790600%)"
Monitoring the MySQL server with MySQL Workbench shows 10MB/s of traffic and
~6000 queries per second being executed when these suspiciously high
percentages are reported.

I also noticed that the Kubuntu 4.14 package repository (at
https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/ubuntu/backports) contains akonadi
1.12.91 and not akonadi 1.13 but I've verified that the problem persists even
when I upgraded to 1.13.0
