Even though no developers have been active on this bug, they do seem to work
towards is solution. I bumped into a blog post of a year ago where they mention
working on this functionality:

In the mean time, if I interpret the commit logs correctly, it seems that
porting to KF5 has taken the upper hand over adding functionality.
