I discovered what was the problem with this issue (that involved both rekonq,
ff and chromium): in the file association (System Settings), the name was
followed by "%u", which caused the program to open twice the url when clicking
on a link.
This option was setup by default by the system an I never changed it. After
deleting it, the browsers open the links normally. :)
