It's a problem with Kontact. I think that Kontact breaks theme selection in
KMail and KAddressBook. When both parts are started via Kontact they are using
same theme name but from correct paths.
In KMail I'm using theme from path
"/usr/share/kde4/apps/messageviewer/themes/letterhead" and when I've  made a
symlink inside "/usr/share/kde4/apps/kaddressbook/viewertemplates" named
"letterhead" pointing do "default" KAddressBook stopped complaining about
missing template.
I'm using KDE 4.13.1
