Variation of the name outside of the email address is not a problem. The system
cannot guess which version of the name is the correct one.

I see this "bug" as a feature. The local mailbox portion of an email is case
sensitive, per RFC 2821. They should be treated as seperate email addresses.

It might seem like in practice you can combine the results based on a lowercase
version, but it will be completely broken when you hit a rare exception.

I don't think it is a problem to scan the list for the right email address. If
the system suggests the most recently used version first, I rarely need to go
past the first entry.
