            Bug ID: 330581
Summary: Composer auto-completed address entry with recipient
name not valid for mail sending
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: kmail2
           Version: 4.12
          Platform: Kubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: composer
          Assignee: kdepim-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: lassi.vaatamoinen at gmail.com

During message composing, when adding recipients, composer offers
auto-completed recipient entries from "Contacts found in your data" with format

Surname, First <first.surname at mymail.com>

Message sending with such entries fail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start KMail with previously received messages (and message sender info added
to DB)
2. Start composing new message
3. Add a recipient of format: Surname, First <first.surname at mymail.com>
Actual Results:
Error message pops up:

"Surname at host
The email address you entered is not valid because it does not contain a '.'.
You will not create valid messages if you do not change your address."

(Previously the message actually got sent, and user received "invalid
recipient" messages from the mailing system.)

Expected Results:
Message could be sent successfully.

Considering this is a major, as very basic use case is not working, causing
very annoying issues in daily use.
