P.P.S: I have setup my Dovecot 2.2 server to automatically create and subscribe
to that folder:
  mailbox trash {
    special_use = \Trash
    auto = subscribe
  }

Thus I cannot actually delete it. Maybe this is what creates a hickup within
Kontact/Akonadi.
