I get the same behavior if I start kleopatra from a DOS command line or by
double-clicking the .exe in Windows Explorer: I never see the GUI.  Windows
Task Manager shows kleopatra.exe using ~50% of the cpu for > 90 seconds then it
is gone, apparently it exited.  During that time the amount of memory kleopatra
is using increases about 70 KBytes per second, assuming that Task Manager
refreshes at 1 second intervals.

I am also having a hanging issue with "gpg2 --encrypt", do not know if it is
related, but thought I'm mention it.
