Downgrading kdepim-runtime to 4.13.3 also worked for me, restoring access to my
Courier IMAP account.

For Thomas Tanghus, the command I used is:

sudo apt-get install kdepim-runtime=4:4.13.3-0ubuntu0.1~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1

You'll probably want to run "apt-cache madison kdepim-runtime" since depending
on what sources you have, the 4.13.3 package may have a slightly different
version.
