OK.  I admit it, I don't know what I'm doing.  I'll take the risk anyway :)

"Akonadi Console is purely a development tool. It allows you to view and change

Under the Agents tab, I have something called "Notes" with a green light and
saying "ready".  If I click on that, the details commentary says:

Capabilities: Resource, Notes
Mimetypes: text/x-vnd.akonadi.note
