One additional comment (sorry for the flood): Kubuntu developers had a long
discussion about whether they should include 4.13.0 in an LTS release,
basically at the day of its release. As far as I understand, they plan to
provide future 4.13.x updates as official updates, but if you file a bug to
Launchpad with a reference to this comment, they could probably supply a hotfix
with the patch from bug 333391 before 4.13.1 is out.
