If you look at the Agents tab in Akonadi Console, what is the status of 
Akonadi Nepomuk Feeder?

It should indicate "Indexing completed". If it indicates that is is waiting 
for Nepomuk to start or, after a while, Nepomuk is not running then that is 
the error condition the script attempts to address.

You did chmod +x the script and add to KDE autostart?
