in case you run 4.11.0, you may try the following:
Add me to your address-book (you got my PGP-keys already), and have your own
PGP-settings properly configured. Set the flag 'automatically sign messages'
(just in case https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125361 is not yet done ;-)
and send me a mail, where you select 'sign&encrypt' from the pop-up.
As a result, the mail sent should only have a signature, not an encryption
